Carrot Juice Recipe

Carrot Juice:

Carrot is one of the healthiest vegetables of the winter season. It is a root vegetable and its scientific name is Daucus carota.

You can eat carrots raw, but why to eat raw, when can make delicious and healthy carrot juice in a few minutes.
Easy Carrot Juice Recipes:
First recipe:
Ingredients:
o   6-8 (500 gm) fresh, tender medium-sized carrots
o   1 glass (150 ml) water
o   Lemon juice
o   Pudina (mint) leaves (optional)
Preparation time: 8-10 minutes
Method:
o   Wash and clean carrots using a vegetable scrub or brush.
o   Peel off the skin of carrots
o   Cut the carrots into small pieces
o   Put all the pieces of carrots in a blender and add one glass of water
o   Blend it into a smooth juice
o   Strain the juice using a strainer to separate the pulp from the juice
o   Add 2-3 tsp lemon juice and pinch of salt to the juice
o   Add crushed pudina (mint) leaves (optional)
o   stir well and serve chilled
Second recipe:
Ingredients:
o   6-8 (500 gm) fresh, tender carrots
o   1 glass (150 ml) water
o   Fresh Lemon juice
o   Ginger root (optional)
o   One orange
Preparation time: 8-10 minutes
Method :
o   Wash and clean carrots using a vegetable scrub or brush.
o   Peel off the skin of carrots
o   Cut the carrots into small pieces
o   Cut off the ends of the orange and remove the skin
o   Cut the orange into big chunks
o   Put orange and carrot pieces into a blender and add one tablespoon of lemon juice, a pinch of ginger root (optional) and one glass of water. You can add more water if you want thin consistency.  
o   Blend it until a smooth juice is formed.
o   Strain the juice using a strainer to separate the pulp and get thin clear juice.  
o   Your carrot juice is ready. Serve chilled or normal.
