Food for Back Pain
There are plenty of foods that can help reduce or prevent
back pain. People suffering from chronic back pain may include these foods in their
diet to alleviate pain and inflammation.
1. Carrots: Carrot
is high in nutrients that help reduce chronic back pain. You can add chopped
carrots in your salad or prepare carrot juice.
2. Sweet Potatoes:
It also contains the nutrients that help
reduce chronic back pain.
3. Grapes: It contains
most of the nutrients and antioxidants that help fight off back pain. Eating
grapes or drinking a glass of red wine may provide relief from back pain.
4. Nuts/ Dry fruits:
Foods like almonds and cashews are rich in good fats and other nutrients with
anti-inflammatory properties.
5. Green Tea: Consume
one or two cups of green tea a day. It also has anti-inflammatory properties
and thus can be an important part of your anti-inflammatory diet.
6. Spices:
Cooking spices like basil, cinnamon, and turmeric also have anti-inflammatory
properties that may alleviate back pain and thus help you live a more active
