Natural Face Masks for Dry Skin


1. Cucumber Face Mask/Face Pack:

Cucumber has a hydrating and cooling effect on the skin which makes the dry skin soft and glowing. It also helps prevent the itching sensation which is very common with dry skin.

Ingredients:

o Half Cucumber

o 1 tablespoon sugar

How to make cucumber face mask:

o Peel the cucumber and then mash it properly.

o Add one tablespoon to it and put it in the refrigerator for 15 to 20 minutes.

o Take it out and apply it onto your face and leave it on for around 10 minutes then rinse it off with water.

o Use this face pack at least twice a week.



2. Cucumber and Aloe Vera Face Mask/Face Pack:

Aloe Vera is very good for the skin. It hydrates and heals the skin. Cucumber has cooling and cleansing properties.

Ingredients:

o 2 tablespoons Aloe vera gel

o Half Cucumber

How to make cucumber & aloe vera face mask:

o Take half of a cucumber and cut it into slices.

o Put the cucumber slices in a blender and blend until watery.

o Add 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel to it and blend again to make a smooth paste.

o Apply the paste evenly onto your face and let it dry. After half an hour rinse it off and pat your skin dry with a towel.


3. Sandalwood (Chandan) Face Mask/Face Pack:

Sandalwood has moisturizing properties and cooling effect on the irritated skin. It is widely used to treat and prevent dry patches and flakiness on the skin.

Ingredients:

o 2 tablespoon sandalwood powder

o ½ teaspoon coconut oil

o 2 tablespoon rose water

How to make sandalwood face mask:

o Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them well.

o Apply it on to your face and leave it on for fifteen minutes so that it gets dry.

o Rinse it off with normal water.

o Use this pack twice or thrice a week.



4. Banana Face Mask/Face Pack:

Banana is a natural moisturizer and has anti-wrinkle and anti-aging properties. Honey and olive oil are emollients.

Ingredients:

o Half-ripe banana

o 1 tablespoon honey

o 1 tablespoon olive oil

How to make banana face mask:

o Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until it changes into a smooth paste.

o Apply the paste on to your face and let it dry for ten minutes then rinse it off with normal water.

o Use this pack once or twice a week.



5. Watermelon Face Mask/Face Pack:

Watermelon has high water content. It hydrates the skin and honey helps retain the moisture provided by the watermelon.

Ingredients:

o 2 tablespoon watermelon juice

o 1 tablespoon honey

How to make watermelon face mask:

o Take a fresh watermelon and extract two tablespoons of the juice.

o Add one tablespoon honey to it.

o Mix until smooth.

o Apply it on your face and leave it on for 20 minutes then rinse it off with clean water.

o Use it two or three times a week.



6. Multani Mitti (soil) Face Mask/Face Pack:

Multani mitti improves blood circulation and helps exfoliate the dry and itchy skin.

Ingredients:

o 2 tablespoon Multani mitti

o 1 tablespoon honey

o Water as required

How to make Multani mitti face mask:

o Mix Multani with honey in a bowl.

o Add required amount of water so that consistency is perfect.

o Apply the paste on to your face and let it dry for 15 minutes.

o Rinse it off with normal water.



7. Shea Butter and Coconut Oil Face Mask:

Shea Butter along with coconut oil helps hydrate and soften skin and restores its elasticity.

Ingredients:

o Shea Butter

o Coconut Oil

How to make shea butter and coconut oil face mask:

o Take 2 tablespoons of shea butter into a bowl.

o Add 2 tablespoon of coconut oil to it.

o Stir until mixed properly.

o Apply the mixture onto your face.

o Let it dry for 15 minutes.

o Then rinse it off with lukewarm water.


8. Aloe Vera Face Mask/Face Pack:

Aloe vera has moisturizing properties. It hydrates and heals the skin and adds glow to the skin.

Ingredients:

o 3 tablespoon fresh aloe vera gel

o 1-2 tablespoon honey

How to make aloe vera face mask:

o Mix all the ingredients properly until a smooth pate is formed.

o Apply the paste onto your face and let it dry for 15 minutes.

o Then rinse it off with lukewarm water.

o Use it twice a week.



9. Curd Face Mask/Face Pack:

Curd contains natural fats and skin exfoliating acids. The natural fats moisturize the skin and natural acids help remove dry and flaky skin.

Ingredients:

o 3 tablespoon of curd (yogurt)

o 1 tablespoon of honey

o ½ teaspoon of turmeric

How to make curd face mask:

o Mix all the ingredients properly until a smooth the paste is formed.

o Apply the paste onto your face.

o Let it dry for 15-20 minutes then rinse it off with water.

o Use it twice a week.


10. Turmeric Face Mask/Face Pack for Dry Skin:

Turmeric has medicinal properties like antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. It helps restore natural glow and elasticity of the skin.

Ingredients:

o 3 tablespoon of pure milk

o 1-2 tablespoon of turmeric

How to make turmeric face wash:

o Mix all the ingredients properly in a mixing bowl.

o Apply the paste onto your face using a cotton ball.

o Leave it on to dry for 10-15 minutes then rinse it off with water.

o Use it twice a week.
