Vomiting during pregnancy is normal, so there is nothing to worry about this. There are plenty of natural ways to stop vomiting during pregnancy, some of which are as follows:

1. Lemon:
Lemon has a soothing smell and calming effect on our body that helps reduce nausea and vomiting.

How to consume:
  • Smell the fresh peel of lemon.
  • Drink lemon juice in the morning.
  • Add a few drops of lemon essential oil on your handkerchief and sniff it when you feel like vomiting.
  • Take one glass of warm and squeeze half a lemon into it and also add a teaspoon of honey. Drink this juice in the morning.  
2. Oranges:
Oranges contain citric acid which helps prevent vomiting and nausea when smelling the oranges.

How to consume:
  • Smell the fresh oranges.
  • Prepare fresh orange juice and drink it regularly to alleviate the sensation of vomiting.
3. Peppermint:
It calms the stomach.

How to consume:
  • Make peppermint tea adding dried peppermint and honey to hot boiling water. Drink this tea in the morning to get relief from nausea and vomiting.
  • Add a few drops of peppermint essential oil on a handkerchief and smell it whenever you feel like vomiting.
  • Chew fresh, green peppermint leaves.
  •  Peppermint candies can also be helpful.
4. Cinnamon:
It is one of the widely used spices in India. It is found very effective to prevent vomiting and morning sickness during pregnancy.

How to consume:

Take one cup of water and boil it then add 1-inch cinnamon stick into it and simmer for around 10 minutes. Let it cool and then add one teaspoon of honey to it. This mixture is cinnamon tea; drink it whenever you feel like vomiting.

5. Ginger:
It is good for the digestive system. It helps reduce acidity in the stomach and its smell and taste reduce the chances of nausea and vomiting.

How to consume: 
  • You can chew a few small pieces of ginger.
  • Mix a few drops of ginger juice with one teaspoon of honey and consume this mixture early in the morning.
  • Boil grated ginger in one cup of water and add honey to it and drink it in the morning.
  • Eat cookies made with pure ginger.   

6. Fennel:
The fragrance of fennel seeds helps reduce nausea and vomiting sensation.
How to consume:
  • Prepare fennel tea for that add one teaspoon of fennel seeds in a cup of hot water. Leave it for ten minutes and strain it then add honey. Drink this tea when you wake up in the morning.
  • Chew fennel seeds whenever you feel like vomiting.

7. Onions:
Onions contain sulfur thereby helps reduce vomiting sensation.
How to consume:
Take a fresh onion and extract the juice and consume it. You can also mix onion juice with ginger juice and drink it.  
  
8. Cloves:
It has a rich aroma and flavor and a soothing effect on the stomach.
How to consume:
  • Take one cup of water and add a teaspoon of cloves into it. Boil it for around ten minutes. Leave it for few minutes and then add honey and drink this mixture.
  • Chew a few cloves throughout the day also helps prevent nausea and vomiting.
  • Fry a few cloves and add honey to it then eat it. 
9. Water:
There is no substitute for water. Drink adequate amount of water during pregnancy. It helps reduce vomiting and keeps you hydrated and retains essential salts and minerals in the body. You can suck ice cubes if you want.

 10. Apple Cider Vinegar:
It contains essential oils as well as has antimicrobial properties. So, it calms the stomach by neutralizing the acid in the stomach and also helps maintain the pH of the body. Thus, it reduces the sensation of vomiting and nausea.

How to consume:
  • Take one cup of warm water and add one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and a half teaspoon of honey into it. Drink this mixture in the morning.
  • You can also consume vinegar in small quantities during the day.
